The Story Of Shen Nong

The Story of Shen Nong is a Chinese herbal tea gift collection. It was conceptualised based on the well-known story of ‘Shen Nong Tastes Hundreds of Plants’, where Shen Nong scaled over mountains and through ravines to taste and record the features and efficacy of assorted medical herbs. He compiled his findings in the ‘Divine Husbandman’s Materia Medica’, which not only formed the foundation of Chinese medicine but also started a new era of tea culture. This combination of medicine and tea inspired the packaging. In the ‘Divine Husbandman’s Materia Medica’, the medicinal herbs are usually classified into three grades.
