The commercial Speed Wheels was realised for Audi Magazine and an associated app. Inspired by the documentary Dogtown and Z-Boys by Stacy Peralta, the clip is a tribute to a legendary Californian skater team of the 1970s, the Z-Boys, and to the surge of adrenalin fast turning wheels can cause. The climax of the story is a ride where former Z-Boy Jesse Martinez competes against the Audi RS5. The black-and-white clip was shot at original locations in Venice, Los Angeles, on Super 8 so as to capture the aesthetic and atmosphere of the 1970s.
