Caring for the Elderly

In this poster work, two large-size human figures draw attention to the problems old people face in their daily lives. A snail and a tortoise are used as metaphors for the burden of limited mobility which comes with age. Designed as woodcuts, the black-and-white images exude a vintage feel, while the bold red lettering seems to weigh heavily on the figures’ shoulders. By this means, the posters effectively express a compassionate attitude, implying that we should be more attentive to elderly people.
