For the FIFA World Cup 2018, Budweiser created a limited edition bottle for China to be launched across 25 cities. The objective was to visually bring to life the global campaign idea “Light Up The FIFA World Cup” as a limited edition bottle and to create a true collector’s item that would excite Chinese football fans and beer drinkers alike. The solution: FIFA’s euphoric energy emanated from the Budweiser Bowtie as graphic light beams, transforming into the dominant flag colours of the eight participating countries.
