“Baum zu glauben” (Tree to Believe, which is a play on the German saying “kaum zu glauben”, or hard to believe) is an appealing typographic work on the history of the Christmas tree and the many stories surrounding it. Since historians and other scholars still disagree on the topic, this Christmas book aims to thin out the thicket of stories. The book brings them vividly to life with collages of classical illustrations, complemented by additional information on how to transport a Christmas tree safely and on the perfect Christmas tree shape.
