SPREAD
Spread is a Tokyo-based creative unit founded by Haruna Yamada and Hirokazu Kobayashi. They combine the long-sighted environmental approach of landscape design with the vivid visual techniques of graphic design, incorporating the environment, living creatures, objects, time, glyphs and memory into their creative work. Colour is an important medium for Spread because, according to Haruna Yamada and Hirokazu Kobayashi, it has the power to stimulate the senses, emotions and imagination, which are the key to positive change.

Much Peace, Love and Joy
The installation "Much Peace, Love and Joy" aims to create happiness through colour in a world impacted by a pandemic. The work was printed using a special silkscreen process that creates unique colour gradients. Through interaction in the space, the installation is constantly changing and reshaping itself.
Different Worlds
The project "Different Worlds" links QR codes to the official websites of all countries and pieces them together to create a colourful, abstract work of art. It takes a poetic approach to addressing not only the abundance of information that is readily available today, but also the question of whether and how we can still deal with it.
