Interview about the project “BETTER THAN YOURS”
ROBROS was founded in 2020 with the vision of blurring the boundaries between humans and robots through innovation – especially in the service industry. The necessary high-tech skills are attained by bringing together disciplines such as robotics, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, as well as user interface design, user experience design, branding and interior design. The company is trying to achieve the safe, fluid interaction of humans and robots and, ultimately, the forward-looking renewal of the service industry.

The unmanned robotic café BETTER THAN YOURS uses robots to deliver precise and consistent results. The brand identity is based on catchy slogans, expressive typography and bold colours. Orders can be placed via the app or website. A display informs visitors about the progress of the preparation while waiting.

"BETTER THAN YOURS" is an unmanned café where customers watch robotic baristas make their coffee to order in front of their eyes. In addition to the short-term effect of customers’ fascination with the robots, it also represents a new user experience and ambience for a human/non-human interface in everyday life.
