With the aim of encouraging users to adopt a healthier lifestyle, a kinetic wallpaper has been designed for smartphone manufacturer vivo’s new OriginOS operating system. It combines the beautiful with the useful. A flower on the screen gradually opens in response to the steps walked by the user. Once the user has reached their daily step goal, the fully opened flower closes in one light-hearted movement. To depict perfect beauty, the flowers were created entirely on the computer. A specially developed software enables each petal to be created individually, just like in nature.
