“The Vici impressed us with its clever product concept,” said the jury. “The pedals can be easily added to convert it from a balance bike into a first real bicycle when the child is ready.” The Vici metamorphosis progresses in steps. The starting point is a low balance bike for smaller children who are practising their balancing skills for the first time. When flipped upside down, the frame turns into a higher balance bike, which in turn can be transformed into a children’s bike with pedals. The lightweight aluminium frame makes for easy handling. As a product that grows with the child, the Vici can take the place of several vehicles, which translates into reduced raw material and energy consumption.
