TIDES

The TIDES exhibition at Ventura Centrale during Milan Design Week 2019 took inspiration from the complex “dance of gravity” that leads to the phenomenon of tides. It offered a temporary experience where time, colour and light became fluid like the ocean. The exhibition showcased 100 stools by the designer Kwangho Lee from the series “The Moment of Eclipse”. Each eclipse-shaped stool was connected to the next one, forming chains of endless variations. Through an abstract “low tide landscape”, the exhibition created an “otherworldly landscape” that invited visitors to take a low tide walk in changing light and colours.
