Theatre Erlangen Season Programme 2017/2018

Against the backdrop of the recent challenges that liberal democracies are facing, the 2017/2018 season programme of the Erlangen theatre deliberately does without a title. Instead, as a call for dialogue and critical questions, the cover and the first page of the booklet are decorated with a thickly brushed question mark and exclamation mark in one. Reflecting on the positioning of the theatre as an open arena of free political discourse, the clearly laid out information and full-page ensemble portraits are supplemented by accompanying material, including drawings, photographs and numerous texts, and aesthetically flanked by motifs of the protest movement.
