TAIPOWER Cultural Heritage Exhibition – Just Flow 2019

This exhibition highlights the potential of hydroelectricity in Taiwan, which has long “hidden among Taiwan’s mountains”. In exciting images, it chronologically traces the eventful history of Taiwan’s hydroelectricity. The story begins over a century ago, when employees from the company TAIPOWER journeyed deep into these mountains. This is complemented by detailed information allowing viewers to understand the local water conditions and topographical features. The key focus, however, is on the challenges and the achievements of those workers who have truly pushed the boundaries and who are impressively presented in a gallery of profile photos as “engineering pioneers”.
