Space Duality
Space Duality as part of the USM Design Grant was set up as a semester project in the Department of Interior Architecture at HEAD – Genève, Geneva University of Art and Design, in Switzerland. Twelve students developed seven immersive projects that offered a novel and emotional experience related to space. Entering the various VR projects, which were placed inside or on top of specially built pieces of furniture, transfers the viewer into an unseen environment full of surprises. While some of the projects have an “enchanted” charm about them, others challenge one to redefine what “interior spaces” are in general.
