Shanghai Suhe Centre

This urban exhibition centre highlights the history and modern lifestyle of the city of Shanghai. It retains the structure, craftsmanship and colour of the traditional industrial and commercial buildings along the Suzhou River, but gives the buildings new functions thus bringing everything together into an organic whole. Thus, on the one hand, the Shanghai Suhe Centre helps to understand the city’s past and present and, on the other, provides a venue for urban culture that offers visitors a fascinating experience.
