Schindler City Center
The Schindler City Center focuses on the Swiss company’s contribution to future mobility in a four-storey visitor centre at the headquarters in Ebikon in Lucerne. The design of the centre creates an experience which tells of future mobility and makes it physically tangible through escalators running through a glass cube and eight spacious installations. They include: a huge, illuminated model of a city, which is animated with augmented reality, a group of 30 towers, in which screens position themselves according to the content shown, a five-metre-wide circle of curved screens, and an installation of 49 freely hanging transparent LED grids extending over an entire storey.
