Safety Hologram

Every year around 1.25 million people die in road accidents worldwide. Among them, the death rate from secondary accidents is six times higher than that from primary accidents. Setting up a warning triangle in the dark, for example, is dangerous for the driver of a defective vehicle. “Safety Hologram” allows drivers to signal a vehicle failure without having to leave the car. It generates a holographic warning sign, which is displayed at the rear of the vehicle. This is made possible by Optical Trap Display technology, which creates images by illuminating particles of the air with a laser.
