Healthy eating has been a consumer issue for many years. However, we often lack the time to prepare meals from fresh ingredients every day, which is why an increasing number of busy people are turning to reheating precooked meals. The Ready-To-Easy Cook Containers were developed to provide this busy target group with a solution that is both functional and aesthetic. Health and safety were an important focus in the development of the containers because they are obviously exposed to high temperatures. The product designer opted for a combination of the materials silicone and borosilicate glass, which don’t release any harmful substances during use. At the same time, the surfaces are smooth and easy to clean. All of these features together make an easy-to-use product with an aesthetic design that fascinated the jury: “Quality cookwear! The details of the containers are very well thought out and visually appealing. One feature we particularly liked was how the lid fits seamlessly around the bowls. The choice of material is another persuasive argument in favour of this product. It is both pleasant the touch and, at the same time, highly functional.” Another clever idea is the steam hole cover to keep food moist during storage and to allow pressure to escape when used in the microwave oven. A removable tray permits the drainage of fat and excess liquid when food is cooking. Wings on both sides of the lid, which are moulded over the edge of the bowl, enhance safety because they prevent contact with the hot glass when handling the containers. Not only are the containers dishwasher-safe; they can also easily withstand freezer temperatures. For space-saving storage, the symmetrically shaped lids can be placed upside down in the bowls. The judges additionally praised the fact that the containers “are ideal as elegant tableware thanks to their aesthetic design, which makes them even more versatile”. The beautiful Ready-To-Easy Cook Containers are a genuine feast for the eyes.
