Protective Fire Extinguisher

Using a fire extinguisher requires one to be close enough to the fire. The extinguisher itself must also bear the high temperature of a fire. Protective Fire Extinguisher takes these requirements into consideration and is designed with a special shield-like structure that provides more protection from fire. To use the protective shield, simply pull out the safety ring to release the shield; then pull back the switch to expand the shield fully. The structure of the shield draws inspiration from the mechanism of folding umbrellas. A view port at the top half of the shield allows the user to look through it. The shield is made of composite materials and a heat-resistant outermost layer. The two layers sandwiched in the middle are made of fire resistant materials that provide good insulation. The Protective Fire Extinguisher offers maximum protection to fire-extinguishers. When not in use, it can be easily retracted into the extinguisher.
