The development of the PowerEdge T160 server focused on both sustainability and user-friendliness. For example, higher proportions of recycled plastic and galvanised steel were used. Its natural lustre made powder coating of the surface unnecessary. Visible rivets, weld seams and open edges were also avoided, while the corners of the housing feature attractive feet. These also make it possible to safely stack several appliances upright or horizontally.
