The Phia basin faucet works in three different modes: in infrared mode, it can be used without contact, and in manual mode, it can be operated by lever. An additional safety mode locks the unit – for example, during longer absences or for cleaning. In addition to the unobtrusive design, the jury was particularly impressed by the option of contactless use to reduce soiling on the fitting and improved hygiene.
