ONE PIECE LEATHER

One Piece Leather is a card case made by folding a single piece of leather without seams, glue, metal or any other materials. It explores a unique way to hold the leather together to create more durable and sustainable leather products. One Piece Leather completes a leather product by utilising the connection relationship of the leather itself and simple folding. Using the Chinese mortise-and-tenon structure as a reference, the design explores a new way of joining leather. The goal is to use only one material to create a stable structure using a unique connection design. To ensure the leather products are environmentally friendly, durable, and sustainable, this method produces seamless, glue-free, and metal-free designs.
