In order to stimulate the interest of a young audience for the National Art Museum of Ukraine (NAMU), its corporate design was completely overhauled. The new design now shows classical art in a contemporary context by integrating selected motifs from individual paintings of the Museum’s collection which evoke timeless topics such as love, friendship etc. “Released” from their paintings, the colourful motifs provide a stark contrast to the monochrome typography. Seven fonts were created to match each period the different masterpieces belong to. The stylish logo rounds off the design concisely.
