Münchner Runde is the foremost political talk show on the Bavarian TV channel BR Fernsehen. Since 1996, the format has stood for critical journalism and explores topical issues from a Bavarian point of view. The design concept takes the title of the show literally: Münchner Runde translates as the Munich Circle. Each individual element centres on the focal point of attention, originates from the circle and finally returns there. The set design aims for maximum reduction to allow viewers to concentrate on the panel lists and the discussion.
