As part of the Taipei Lantern Festival 2020 in Taiwan, this light installation was created as interactive sculpture. The invitation to build a design piece related to the animal mouse, as it is the Chinese Zodiac of this year, led to experimentation with the opposites of light and shadow. The result, “Mouse Light Fun”, goes beyond the principle of a purely decorative sculpture. With its fun and engaging appearance, the installation transformed Taipei into a playground for citizens, inviting them to play with their own “shadow”. Adults and children alike enjoyed an experience full of childishness and playfulness.
