In addition to video and audio monitoring, the Masimo Stork system measures pulse rate, oxygen saturation and skin temperature. It uses the pulse oximetry method, utilising the same technology that the manufacturer has developed for hospitals. The high-resolution video images transmitted to the parents' smartphone are expressive even in poor light conditions and are supplemented by two-way audio. The system is controlled via a clearly designed app.
