Medical Equipment Control UI/UX

KARE MCM

The KARE MCM mobile negative pressure isolation station was developed to quickly and easily help hospitals with insufficient isolation beds in emergencies. In its development, designers, medical staff and manufacturing companies worked together to create an optimal layout. The user interface and experience (UI/UX) play a key role in the systematic and efficient operation of the ward. This is because in a complex and busy isolation ward, a well-designed UI/UX system reduces the effort of medical staff and helps them work as productively as possible. For example, the displays show an intuitive structure with a clear overview of functions and settings. At the same time, they also enable isolated patients to communicate easily with medical staff, thus ensuring increased work efficiency and emotional support during treatment. On the clearly structured and intuitively understandable control display, staff can, for example, check whether the air pressure is correctly set and regulated for reasons of biological safety. In addition, all units can be monitored and controlled remotely.

The design of the UI/UX systems for the mobile negative pressure isolation station KARE MCM impresses with an immediately comprehensible navigation, characterised by an appealing and clear appearance, that guides the user through the complex application. In addition to the visual preparation of the data, the well-thought-out overall concept succeeds particularly well in integrating staff and patients alike into the processes and, above all, into the communication.
