The HP EliteBook 1040 14 inch G11 Notebook has been significantly revamped compared to its predecessor, now offering twice the performance of previous EliteBooks. Reduced in size, the device is now only 16 mm thick and over 15 per cent smaller in width and depth (1.7 mm narrower and 6 mm shorter, to be precise). The outer metal covers are made of lightweight recycled aluminium. HP SmartSense automatically optimises performance, cooling and battery life according to user habits.
