How Did Language Affect Humans?
This design project is associated with literacy rates. It asks, how does language affect humans? It imagines the first language as being communicated through movements of the human body and employs dynamic graphic motifs to express that. The graphics gradually expand with silhouettes performing balletic movements to represent the freedom of expression attained through literacy.
A person who does not have language would be in pain, while a person who has language would desire power—these two contrasting structures are depicted on the first poster. The second poster depicts people ranked by continents based on literacy rates. A compendium booklet is titled ‘Make Your Movement On Your Stage’, implying that learning a language can help you expand your world.
