Herbal Master

In view of the fact that liver cancer is one of the most common causes of death in Taiwan, this project combines traditional Chinese medicine and Qigong in a bid to promote good health. The carefully packaged parts of the work offer instructions for exercises, information about herbal tea culture and a special tea which is beneficial to the liver. Contrasting with the set’s nostalgic external packaging, the illustrations inside are drawn like comic strips. The original mix of styles conveys the message that modern life and traditional cures can be both compatible and beneficial.
