Geminus

Geminus is a rail design solution where only one track is required for trains running in both directions – one on top of the track and the other, under the track. The compact design makes it suitable for existing high-density cities as it would take up less space and would not require much excavation works. Geminus has 4 carriages on a single light rail magnetic levitation train system. With only 4 small carriages, the train has a smaller turning radius, making it easy to manoeuvre around existing buildings. The magnetic levitation trains operate with less noise and energy, which makes for a more comfortable ride. Train platforms allow for boarding on both sides of the train to ease boarding congestions. This high-rise monorail system has a lower cost compared to the underground rail and takes up less space in an urban environment.
