The Ferrari 296 GTS is a further development of the two-seater Berlinta Spider with mid-engine and plug-in electric motor. Compact dimensions and sophisticated aerodynamics ensure high agility, underlined by clean lines and interlocking vehicle volumes. The dominant feature of the car’s architecture is the aerobridge, which gives the impression that the compact cabin is seamlessly integrated into the fenders and sides. The new tailgate design results from the need to stow the retractable soft top in the engine compartment. The 296 GTS impressed the jury with its elegance and the combination of classic Ferrari proportions with new design elements.
