Feel The Silent Music

Deaf dancers move without hearing the music they are dancing to. For them it is especially difficult to learn how to move to the rhythm of a song or to recognise when a song has ended. The app “Feel The Silent Music” offers support. It connects via Bluetooth to a sleeveless shirt the dancer is wearing and can be used to set the intensity and the length of a song. The beats are then converted into vibrations by sensors which are integrated in the shirt. Through the interplay of the app and the sensors, the dancer can feel the music.
