Explorado
With Explorado, a children’s museum opened its doors in the historic architectural setting of Duisburg’s inner harbour. With the motto “being smart is fun”, the museum presents exhibits of various areas of interest. The corporate design focuses on characterising the vitality and complexity of the project, whilst addressing children as a serious target group. The basic components of the logo – the icons of a heart, a hand and a brain – stand for the didactic concept of learning with all senses. The shape of each icon is used as a frame that can be filled with constantly new and changeable image content. The icons are also used as graphical elements which appear in a playful way in various media.
