The appliance has 45 per cent more capacity than comparable models. “The design with rimless drawers and accentuated horizontal lines underlines the generous space available. Complex forms have been simplified and technical details hidden,” was the jury’s statement. Plastic imitations with a metal look were replaced by components made of stainless steel that can be recycled. In the Electrolux MaxiSpace 700 – AEG MaxiSpace 7000, inner liners made of 70 per cent recycled plastic from discarded refrigerators were fitted for the first time.
