Eight Infernal Generals

Eight Infernal Generals is a special Taiwanese folk tradition, an important element of which are the “peace cakes”. As symbols of the gods that protect the people, they play an important role and are to make the recipient of the blessing believe that they can imbibe peace by eating them. The design of the gift boxes aims to keep the memory of this tradition alive. It combines the main colours of red, green, white and black with Chinese cultural content in an attention-grabbing style. The design of each individual packaging is based on a collection of thirteen different mask features.
