This environmentally friendly packaging reduces the ecological footprint created by shipping mobile phones of the HTC brand. The box consists of 99 per cent recyclable and biodegradable materials. Compared to previous packaging solutions, the new size is 15 per cent smaller and 40 per cent lighter. Instead of sharp edges, rounded radii that imitate the tactile feel of the device have been integrated.
