DOWN-LESS DOWN JACKET
Cross Cloth
Cross Cloth shoes are adjustable to fit different feet shapes and growth speeds, therefore reducing the frequency of replacement purchases for children who grow up at a dizzying speed. Its simple and flexible design also relieves shoe-related concerns with a comfortably light fit as if walking barefoot. These shoes will fit right for a child who has just begun walking but will soon outgrow their shoes.
If one piece of cloth can be used in a variety of ways like a ‘furoshiki’, then it can be used for a long period of time. Cross Cloth shoes are inspired by this Japanese minimal cultural product. A flat insole, just like the ones in sandals and slippers, can accommodate a wide range of foot sizes. An elastic fabric is used to fix the insole, ensuring both flexibility and a good fit. The core is inserted above the heel to effortlessly support the heels and Velcro tape is used as a fastener to enable easy slipping on and slipping off of the shoes.
With Cross Cloth, parents don’t have to feel guilty about discarding the shoes they have just purchased, since it is a waste to continually purchase and discard products. This concept can also be applied as a comfortable shoe designs for individuals with bunion issues or unusual toes.
