Acer Aspire Vero aims to solve ecological challenges in the PC industry by combining environmental friendliness with an innovative design approach. To this end, the lifecycle has been rethought to address sustainability, starting from product design, manufacturing, packaging, use by the consumer, all the way to recycling. For the case and keyboard, recycled plastic was used, thus significantly reducing CO₂ emissions. Standard screws are installed to simplify repairs and hardware upgrades. Yellow dots on the grey housing also visually impart the laptop’s ecological aspirations.
