Phoenix Design Team

The title of honour „Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2018” went to Phoenix Design with its teams in Stuttgart, Munich and Shanghai. With “Logic, moral and magic”, the design studio has consistently obtained top-class results over decades. Founded in 1987 by Andreas Haug and Tom Schönherr, the interdisciplinary teams with an international gearing design brand-specific products and services for its clients – among them Duravit, Hansgrohe, Loewe, Haier, Huawei, Trumpf, Viessmann, Vorwerk and Zeiss. What characterises the designs is the focus on the needs of the user and the self-explanatory interaction with the product. It is the diversity of the companies and brands as well as the high quality and innovation level of the products with which Phoenix Design has set an exemplary quality standard for design studios.
