TT Espina ist eine Display-Antiqua mit ausdrucksstarken Serifen. Sie hat schmale Proportionen und einen hohen Kontrast zwischen horizontalen und vertikalen Strichen. Ihr charakteristischer, rautenförmiger Buchstabe O wurde von den Inschriften alter florentinischer Tafeln inspiriert.
