Blackmagic Videohub 80x80 12G

The Blackmagic Videohub 80x80 12G is a powerful 12G-SDI router for video streaming, specifically designed for large-scale live productions from areas such as news, sports or music. It simultaneously transmits SD, HD or Ultra-HD video signals with high frame rates of up to 11.8 GB per second, adapts to almost any broadcast scenario, and can route up to 80 different video standards cost-effectively and simultaneously.

Blackmagic ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel 30

Whether sporting events, concerts or TV broadcasts – never before has so much content been produced and presented to an audience in real time. Alongside the traditional broadcasting corporations, an increasing number of smaller stations are providing professional live video transmissions of a high quality. But it is these institutions in particular that face a problem: conventional switching systems are very expensive and complicated, whilst cheaper, software-based systems are slow to control and difficult to navigate. The aim when creating the ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel 30 was therefore to develop an affordable, intuitive control panel able to cope with the demands of professional, live video transmissions. As users can physically operate the back-lit keys, knobs and fader bars, the ATEM panel removes the need for time-consuming navigation using complicated graphical user interfaces. The clearly arranged operating elements enable rapid access to all features of the switcher and the reliable control of transitions and digital video effects. The well-organised, clear layout convinced the jury members, too. “The ATEM Panel is a perfect combination of form and function,” was their verdict. “We are equally delighted by the details – such as the feel of the buttons – as we are by the consistently restrained design which enhances the product’s clarity. Although it offers a wealth of different functions and options, operation is easy to learn thanks to the coherent design.” The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel 30 has deliberately been kept compact, and hence is also suitable for use where space is limited, for example in a broadcast van or smaller broadcasting studios. It has over 30 input keys, three independent system control LCDs, and can control up to four mix/effect levels (M/E). Two power inputs ensure redundancy, and an integrated 4-port Ethernet switch means that no additional network equipment is required. The multitude of professional functions and the well-thought-out design make the product the perfect partner for complex live productions which require the ability to response rapidly to unexpected events and conditions.
