Zhu Tai

The packaging design for Zhu Tai, a new brand of paper towels and sanitary paper products, focuses on bamboo. Zhu is the Chinese word for bamboo, the material from which the products are made. In China, the recyclable material is popular with consumers and, thanks to its hollow and straight form, stands for high toughness. The font used for the product name aims to communicate this property, while at the same time providing harmonious balance. The green patterns on the packaging are inspired by bamboo branches and complemented by colourful illustrations of birds which inhabit bamboo groves.
