ZERO Wired

ZERO Wired is a wearable device for real-time measurement of brain activity, heart rhythm and body movements of patients with epilepsy. The device comprises two sensor units and one controller unit for data transmission and charging, it can be connected to a smartphone using a USB-C cable. The sensors are made of adhesive, flexible materials and can be placed discreetly behind the ears. The controller is attached to the wearer’s clothing with a sturdy metal clip to reduce noise. “The unobtrusive headphone shape, the small size of the components and the well-thought-out functionality of the system for the safety of patients with epilepsy is convincing,” the jury found.
