Yutian is an urban village in the Luoho District in Shenzhen, China, where houses do not follow standardised numbering. The objective of the orientation system was to allocate individual numbers to each house and so make the buildings easier to identify. The design combines the colours of local advertising signs with visual elements common to the region. The guidance system has a high recognition value and is highly relevant for the development of the village.
