The Xperia ion is a smartphone whose large display covers the entire front side. A reduction to the essentials creates the appearance of the display floating in the hand of the user. The backside, the side keys, and the camera details are all made of brushed aluminium, not only conveying high-grade workmanship but also enabling ergonomic handling.
