The Xperia U is a compact, clearly design-ed smartphone, whereby the bottom caps of the housing are interchangeable. The black or white main housing can be combined with a yellow, pink, black or white bottom cap. A transparent, illuminating element under the display provides additional liveliness by chang-ing colour to match each image shown on the album cover or background.
Statement by the Jury
The clear, practical form language of the Xperia U contrasts pleasantly with the illuminating band which keeps changing colour.
