Xkelet is an orthosis for the immobilisation of injured bones, which is custom-fitted using 3D printing. With the help of an iOS device, the affected limbs are scanned and measured. A 3D model is created from the data and can be configured further in an app. In the next step, the orthosis is ordered online, produced by the manufacturer and then sent to the customer. The individually manufactured orthosis provides more comfort and mobility than a cast and is also more hygienic.
