Xin Jing

The Heart Sutra, Xin Jing in Chinese, of Prajna Paramita leads to the core of Buddhist teachings: the understanding that emptiness means independence and freedom, enabling a clear and wise view of the world. This aspect is presented by the posters in a clear-cut design. Due to their splodge-like depiction in black ink, the individual characters are hard to be recognised as such. They extend their boundaries, overlap each other, blur and stand out clearly from the light background, which features an abstract pattern.
