XiM20 - An Autonomous Ride-Share Interior
With the XiM20, advanced technologies and product innovations complement intuitive design, providing flexibility and comfort for the autonomous ride-share passengers of tomorrow.
The front area is an observation space, offering comfortable, functional seating with an uninterrupted 180 degree view through the curved windshield. This zone is reminiscent of a cafe or coffee house bar, pressed up against a glass window to allow passengers to feel connected to the world while enjoying their journey. The rear seating area provides secluded comfort for passengers to retreat and relax. The space mimics the cosy atmosphere of a booth, with soft fabric surrounding and technology integrations designed to complement passengers’ moods and preferences.
In the front is the Smart Interior Surface Table that is sustainably constructed with real bamboo and compressed natural fibres; controls and navigation concealed behind its natural surface, blending in with the surrounding when not in use. XiM20 also features a UV surface sanitiser, a personalised smart audio system to deliver entertainment without
bothering others, and an alert system to remind passengers to take items they may have stowed away. The rear zone features slim air vents for climate control, active cast lighting and touch-free access.
