Vision is a system of cameras, lighting units and optical components housed in a robust metal enclosure. It was developed for use in industrial manufacturing to complement the manufacturer’s image-processing system on the hardware side. The jury was impressed by the “comprehensive holistic concept and its high-quality implementation, which is evident in many functional details and keeps the application requirements in mind”. Vision also succeeds in creating technically and practically appropriate solutions in terms of application convenience and flexible compatibility with other systems.
